I am excited to announce that North End Studio B, 294 N Winooski Ave, Burlington VT is home to World Tree Aerial Dance! The studio is warm and inviting with a lovely, smooth floor and our new aerial rigs. My aerial dance teaching style is very unique, drawing heavily on contemporary dance, improvisation, and somatic practices. Fly, hang, spin, climb, and explore three-dimensional patterns in the body and space. This practice builds strength, creativity, and confidence in a safe and supportive environment! Weekly classes, Monthly Workshops, and Private Lessons are all offered to help aerial dance fit into your schedule. Birthday parties and private group events are available upon request!

Kids Fall Aerial Dance
In this series we'll dive into the art of aerial fabrics, learning to climb, invert, drop, and fly in the air. In each class we'll warm up our bodies to develop awareness, strength, coordination, and flexibility. We'll deepen our understanding of aerial technique, and explore possibilities with improvisation, all in a collaborative and supportive environment. Invert for a new perspective, swing and spin into flight, challenge your relationship with gravity. All levels welcome, ages 6-14.
In this beginner aerial class we will work on climbing, inversions, footlocks, and knot sequences. Improvisational scores encourage creativity and innovation with the apparatus. No experience needed!
Continuing aerial students ages 7-11 will build on aerial basics learning new climbs, more complex sequences, and beginner drops. Improvisational scores increase in complexity and encourage creativity and innovation. Students must be able to climb without a spot, invert, and feel comfortable in dancers and figure-8 footlocks.
Students who have a solid grasp of aerial basics including climbing, inverting in the air, footlocks in the air, and hipkey take their basics to new heights. Students will learn more complex sequences and techniques including drops and slides. Improvisational scores become more nuanced and specific. Ages 8-12.
Level 2 students create compositional studies, improvisational scores, and learn group choreography utilizing technical skills and creative dance. Students may have performance opportunities through out the year. *Students must be enrolled in a Level 2 technique class.
Students age 11-16 continue to develop more complex sequences and techniques, working on strength, endurance, and artistry. Improvisational scores become more nuanced and specific.
